HP has announced a new range of printing and imaging solutions designed to help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) enhance employee productivity. HP maintain that by taking strategic decisions about their imaging and printing investments businesses can improve office efficiencies and uncover new revenue streams.
The announcement includes the immediate availability of HP ePrint Enterprise on iPhone devices and the pending availability on Android smart phones, new and enhanced multifunction printers for an office environment and the expansion of HP solutions for SMEs.
Jeff Hayes, president of InfoTrends, a market research consultancy firm contends that, “in recent years, IT organisations have been under tremendous stress to control and reduce costs while also investing in business process innovation.” He added that, “successful organisations realise that they need to strategically invest across their entire IT infrastructure including business printing.”
