If you have ever wanted to star in your very own Harry Potter adventure, maybe the PlayStation 2 can make your dream come true. EA has announced that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will use the EyeToy technology for the PS2 system.

The EyeToy will allow users to appear as themselves in mini-games, with up to four players competing in the Potter-themed games. To use this new feature, players don the Sorting Hat and are sorted into their respective Hogwarts house. The Mini-Games include clapping your hands together to catch a Chocolate Frog; playing Exploding Snap; practicing Seeker skills; and stopping Dungbombs.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban gives fans the chance to experience the magic and peril of Harry’s third year at Hogwarts and the mystery of Sirius Black, with the option to play as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as well as Harry Potter. Each character has their own attributes and skills that come in handy for solving challenges and beating enemies.
