Eircom has joined FreeMove Alliance, an international mobile telecommunications partnership between Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telecom Italia and Telia Sonera.
The group offers multinational organisations consistent quality of service across mobile carriers in different countries.
FreeMove provides the local support for customers in areas such as data roaming and voice services, flat rates for both services across Europe and the USA and remote access to corporate networks from over 160 countries. Other services include telecom expense management, customer support, global account management and mobile device management.
Ronan Kneafsey, managing director, eircom Business, said: "By joining the FreeMove Alliance we are not only extending the Alliance’s footprint into Ireland but we are also giving our customers the opportunity to centrally manage and have full visibility of their global mobile workforce. It enables our customers to improve their mobile businesses operations at an international level."
