HiberniaEvros has launched a new dedicated cloud computing subsidiary under the Digital Planet brand. The new subsidiary offers Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) which is aimed at helping organisations reduce the cost of implementing and maintaining server infrastructure.
Digital Planet which built its first Cloud platform in 2008 is planning to create 50 new positions over three years. The new IaaS services brings the number of Digital Planet’s cloud offerings up to four, the remaining offerings include its public cloud, private cloud and its disaster recovery or online back up.
