Derby City Council rolls out TerminalFour software

Derby City Council has implemented TerminalFour’s Web-based content management solution (WCM) to improve communications with the public.

As part of its One Derby One Council programme, the Council plans to use the new WCM to provide 24-hour access to services like requests for information and make payments like council tax, adult learning fees, and fines. It is expected the cost to the Council of a customer enquiry will be reduced from £7.40 (€8.87) for face-to-face consultation to 32p (€0.38) when carried out through the website.

The Council has also taken on TerminalFour’s Site Manager software for the rapid updating of website content without the need for input from IT professionals.
