Dedalus opens Irish headquarters as part of €10m strategy
Dedalus Ireland today officially opened its new Irish headquarters at Northwood Business Park, Dublin, at an event attended by Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke, Michael Lohan, CEO, IDA Ireland, and Counsellor Edoardo Berionni Berna, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Italy in Ireland.
The opening marks a significant milestone in Dedalus’ continued growth and long-term investment in Ireland, further strengthening the company’s capabilities in support of both the Irish and wider European healthcare systems.
The new Irish headquarters follows the announcement last December that the healthcare software provider will create 100 new high-value jobs in Ireland over the next four years as part of a €10 million Irish expansion strategy.
Dedalus has partnered with the Irish health system for more than 30 years. Its technologies support hospitals and healthcare organisations nationwide across areas including electronic patient records, laboratory systems, diagnostics, patient administration, clinical interoperability and patient engagement portals.
The company’s ongoing expansion in Ireland includes a strong focus on roles in research, development and innovation which are central to the evolving digital health ecosystem. This investment is helping grow Ireland-based expertise and capacity to support both the domestic healthcare landscape and wider European operations from Ireland.
As part of its recruitment and talent development strategy, Dedalus is partnering with Generation Ireland, a non-profit organisation supporting people seeking careers in the technology and green sectors.
The expansion is progressed in collaboration with the indigenous digital health sector, the HSE and hospital networks nationwide, helping to strengthen Ireland’s broader digital health and innovation ecosystem.
