Value added distributor CMS Distribution has completed the integration of UK enterprise software distributor Interactive Ideas, which officially commenced trading as CMS Distribution on 2 January.
In less than two months the Integration Team appointed in November has successfully transferred all customer, vendor and product information for Interactive Ideas on to the CMS SAP trading platform.
“In November, we welcomed our new Enfield colleagues into the group and we have commenced 2014 as one big team across four sites and under one company name, CMS Distribution, thanks to our hard working Integration Team. We have big growth expectations for 2014, and this starts us off on the right foot,” said CMS founder and managing director Frank Salmon (pictured).
Post-integration, CMS Distribution’s portfolio now encompasses leading enterprise software solution vendors, including Red Hat, SolarWinds and Attachmate Group.
CMS Distribution employs 215 people in the UK and Ireland. CMS recently acquired enterprise software distributor, Interactive Ideas and represents now more than 50 technology vendors including Acronis, CommVault, Quantum, SanDisk, Seagate, Red Hat, SolarWinds, Symantec and Toshiba.
