Venoo
For: iOS, Android
Venoo is a combination social networking and cashless payments app, which effectively manages your visit to the pub and, in theory, helps get through the initial awkwardness of meeting new people.
Users top up their account with their debit or credit card with the security of Stripe, and then use the app to buy drinks and food, eliminating the need to carry cash and speeding up the ordering process. Customers can select the exact items they want from the bar on the app, and show the list to the bar staff who will then redeem the items.
As a localised social network, users can browse potential contacts in the vicinity – add them as a buddy, send them a ‘wink’ or buy them a drink. They can also accept or reject drinks that other people want to buy for them, and chat to people through private messaging and public message boards. Venoo uses a person’s Facebook profile picture and age but will never post on Facebook on a person’s behalf.

KillBiller
For: Android
KillBiller helps users manage their mobile phone packages by tracking their habits, from how many minutes you spend talking, to text messages sent to how much data you use, all in one place.
It then matches you usage against all of the plans available from Irish mobile operators.
The current version of KillBiller focuses on billpay plans but prepay plan calculations and iPhone support are coming soon.

Dream Wedding
For: iOS
Dream Weddings’ digital strategy covers a website with a supplier directory, a game that puts players through a virtual wedding with discounts from suppliers along the way and an iOS app that ties them both together.
The Dream Wedding Planner app is a mobile directory and companion to the game. Using in-app geo-targeting so suppliers listed on Dream Weddings’ website will be able to showcase their products and services to potential customers.
