Business consultancy Accenture has signed a three-year deal to provide Carlsberg IT with management consulting, systems integration, application development and maintenance, and programme management services in Europe.
Carlsberg IT, a subsidiary of the Danish brewing firm, delivers business solutions to the group across Europe. Financial details were not disclosed.
Carlsberg IT VP Kenneth Egelund Schmidt said his firm’s focus on cutting operational costs and increasing business process standardisation across the business “requires a flexible IT organisation with a global presence.”
Accenture’s Henrik Rasmussen said Accenture will help Carlsberg IT carry out SAP and Microsoft software implementations in Europe to replace legacy systems and set up a common ERP platform to enable business growth.
