Mobile operator 3 has announce its price plans for the iPhone 4, due to land on Irish shelves this Friday. There will be four tarriffs available across iPhone 4 16- and 32Gb models and iPhone 3G S. Price of handsets will be tied to tarriffs (based on an 18-month contract) starting at a free upgrade for the 3G S up to €319 for the 32Gb iPhone 4.

Consumers will have a choice of price plans at €40, €60, €80 and €95 with a 2Gb data cap. Unlike O2 and Vodafone, who split their voice/text allowances separately, 3 customers will be offered a number of ‘flex units’ equal to 1 minute of talk time, two text messages or 500Kb above the data cap.
