A number of experts will be gathering in Cork in June for a Web 2.0 mini-conference, which is being organised by It@cork. International speakers at the event will include Salim Ismail, co-founder of blog search engine Pubsub, and Shel Israel, who co-wrote Naked Conversations with Robert Scoble and is currently writing a book on Web 2.0.
Irish speakers confirmed to speak include Fergus Burns, founder and CEO of Nooked, and local Web 2.0 developer Walter Higgins of pxn8.com. Microsoft, the main sponsor of the mini-conference, will also have a speaker.
Attending the event is free to all employees of It@cork member companies. For non-members, there’s a fee of €50 per person.
