Vodafone customers frustrated by nationwide outage

Vodafone customers across Ireland have been taking to social media to vent their frustrations with the telco as the network suffers a significant service outage.
“We are aware that some of our customers are currently experiencing intermittent issues with their mobile and data service, this is due to a technical fault,” said a Vodafone customer service representative on the company’s community forum. “We are working to restore service as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you posted.”
The outage seems to have started around midday today, with users taking to Twitter using the hashtag #Vodafonedown.
