Twitter to double size of Dublin office

Twitter has announced plans to double the size of its office in Pearse St, Dublin to more than 200 people by the end of 2014.

The Dublin office serves as the company’s European HQ and has built up a staff of more than 100 people since opening in 2011. At present the social network is looking to fill 30 positions in legal, HR, sales, marketing and engineering.

Twitter managing director for Ireland Stephen McIntyre said: "In less than two years we have gone from one employee to more than 100 people in our Dublin office, with staff working across more than ten business functions. Twitter employees have a real opportunity to make an impact on the business.
