LG Optimus Vu

The 5" smartphone space is more or less a two horse race between Samsung’s Note and LG’s Optimus Vu. With the former now on the shelves here’s a preview of what the competition has to offer.

The Vu runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 and comes with an LCD screen at 1024×768 resolution. It measures 5.5×3.56x.33" and comes with 8- and 1.3MP rear- and front- facing cameras. A 1.5GHz CPU, 1Gb RAM and 32Gb internal storage round out the package.

Comparatively modest compared to the competition, the Vu has its work cut out in a niche space.
