Audiovisual solutions provider Sonru has announced its entry into the Canadian market. The company will partner with reseller Workshift Systems Corporation.
Sonru’s video interviewing technology allows recruiters to conduct interviews online. Under the system candidates receive an invitiation by e-mail to complete an interview. Candidates are given set timeframes to read and complete each answer and their progress is recorded in real time using a webcam. Recruiters can then analyse the recordings to inform their hiring decisions.
Part of the attraction of Sonru’s offering is the ability to save on the expense and environmental impact of travelling to an interview – something of particular value to potential overseas applicants.
Fergal O’Byrne (pictured), CEO, Sonru said: “We are delighted to partner with Workshift Systems to facilitate our formal entry into the Canadian market They are a very enthusiastic adopter of new and innovative technologies and video interviewing fits perfectly with their existing product suite and offers real value to their customer base.
