The CITAX project has now entered into its sixth step where module teams are progressing to the pilot phase. The module teams are currently focusing on CAD layering, electronic trading, electronic tendering, project collaboration and electronic measurement. The Enterprise Ireland-assisted CITAX project commenced last year and involves five CITA (Construction IT Alliance) member teams mapping processes for the electronic exchange of information across a broad range of construction-related industry requirements with a view to improving procedures and reducing costs.
