Secure Computing Forum 2014 this week

Data Solutions will host the annual Secure Computing Forum on 13 March at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin. The event will bring together high profile international speakers and leading industry experts in what has become one of the largest IT security events in Ireland.

One of the speakers taking part in this debate will be Dr Ciarán Mc Mahon, research and development coordinator at the CyberPsychology Research Centre in the Institute of Leadership.

Two keynote speaker will address the event. Lieutenant Colonel William Hagestad II, US Marine Corps (RET) and Michael Schrenk.

Other speakers will include Keith Bird, MD of Check Point Software Technologies, UK and Ireland as well as Amar Singh, a leading industry expert on data privacy, governance, risk management and compliance and current Chair of the ISACA’s Security Group.

Topics that will be discussed at the Secure Computing Forum 2014 include:

  •     Damage Limitation: Identifying and minimising the impact of a breach
  •     Security: Today’s real security threats, cutting through the hype

  •     Security Innovations: Insights and demonstrations.
