E-Token from Aladdin Knowledge Systems now supports Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server and MetaFrame Secure Access Manager. Organisations using these Citrix products to centrally manage and deploy applications and information can now implement eToken for powerful, two-factor authentication of both local and remote users with a simple USB smartcard.
About the size of a normal house key, eToken is a USB authentication device that offers users and IT security administrators a fully portable, cost-effective means to authenticate users and digitally sign sensitive business transactions.
Support is built into eToken for the Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) and Citrix Web-based Access Clients providing simple, yet powerful, security of corporate information assets. eToken with Citrix ICA enables Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server to separate application logic from the user interface. The application executes 100 per cent on the server and only screen updates, mouse movements and keystrokes are transmitted via the Citrix ICA session.
eToken is compatible with the Citrix ICA Client, providing strong two-factor authentication for remote users accessing sensitive data. eToken with Citrix Web-based Access enables Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager to provide secure, single-point access over the Web to any enterprise resource, including client/server, legacy, Web applications, Internet and intranet sites, streaming media, documents, network file services, and XML-based Web services.
