Managed IT services company Novosco has signed a €200,000 deal with insurance brokerage firm, Robertson Low.

The contract is the latest in a series of deals for the IT firm worth over €8 million.

By outsourcing its IT system to Novosco, Robertson Low – the only Irish incorporated Lloyd’s broker – stands to save €50,000 over the next five years.

Novosco was selected as IT partner following a competitive tendering process. Novosco will implement and manage the new cloud-based system.

James Kelly, enterprise sales manager, Novosco, said: “The private sector can make significant savings by taking advantage of new, emerging technologies. Managed cloud services allow Irish businesses to get up and running without the need for any capital investment. More importantly, it provides a consistent and predictable mechanism for managing your IT costs. This allows businesses to plan better by reducing and managing costs.”

Founded in 2007, Novosco employs over 90 people in its offices in Dublin, Birmingham and Belfast.
