Magnet has rebranded their Web TV option as Aertv.ie. The free service, now registration-free, will carry the main domestic TV channels and Ireland’s first live music channel, Aertv Music.
The eleven free channels include RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3, TG4 and 3e as well as, RTÉ One + 1, RTÉ News Now, RTÉ jr, France 24, Russia Today and Dáil Éireann. These will stream on Aertv.ie simultaneous to the stations’ TV broadcast. The service will also broadcast live events and unique home-produced content.
Along with the free live TV, Aertv.ie has an integrated Twitter and Facebook facility, so users can share your favourite live events and TV shows as they air.
Aertv director Philippe Brodeur said: "This is a great service and long overdue. Finally, people can watch all the main Irish TV channels live on their mobiles, tablets and PCs for free and without even having to log in."
