Lenovo announces new business partner programme

PC manufacturer Lenovo has unveiled its new business partner programme featuring tools and offerings for PC resellers.

The new programme comes less than a year after Lenovo purchased IBM’s PC division and provides recruitment, education, training, sales and marketing tools, as well as service and support, to the company’s partners.

The programme features a two-tiered model, which divides channel partners into two categories: the Lenovo Business Partner level and the Premium level. The new programme positions Business Partners as the primary route to market for Lenovo for small to medium sized business.

The Partner level offers benefits to all partners who sell Lenovo and Think products, while the Premium level rewards those partners, with enhanced benefits, who are loyal to, or grow with, Lenovo. Additionally, it incorporates partners who provide services around the Lenovo product differentiation. These benefits include additional sales opportunities, lead generation, demo discounts and co-marketing funds.
