Data recovery specialist Kroll Ontrack has opened a new technical facility in Dublin to provide specialist resources for businesses and IT resellers that need to recover data.

The facility based at Northwest Business Park in Kilshane Way, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, can recover data that has been lost or deleted due to logical problems or malfunctioning hardware.

The services offered at the new facility include a free evaluation service called Freeval, for damaged devices which can let customers know before committing resources if data is recoverable.

“The demand for data recovery services continues to grow across the board,” said Phil Bridge, managing director, Western Europe, Kroll Ontrack, “and we are expanding our operations in Ireland in order to meet our customers’ demands. The new premises will help us to offer local services to Irish audiences which will translate into faster turnaround times for our customers.”

Bridge said that the pace of change in technology will only continue to accelerate, requiring the company to work continuously to keep up with new developments so that data can be recovered, whether from a broken iPhone, a multi-drive server, or anything in between.

“We also needed to scale up our operations to meet the demand for localised services whilst maintaining the global quality our customers are used to,” said Bridge. “Backed by a global network of operations and highly skilled specialist engineers, the new facility gives us the opportunity to continue to grow as well as provide high quality services to all of our customers.”
