Kedington Group and St Andrew’s College have announced the successful completion of a state-of-the-art network for the international, co-educational school.

This investment served to ensure that the Booterstown College is, and will remain, able to take advantage of the emerging trends in the use of ICT in education, such as the use of interactive white boards and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

Kedington produced a network design based on such an infrastructure for a managed gigabit-to-desk switching infrastructure combining a cable solution with 802.11n Wi-Fi.

St Andrew’s headmaster Arthur Godsil said: “We have enjoyed a high speed network that has given teachers the confidence to integrate ICT into their day-to-day teaching. In addition the installation of a Wi-Fi network has allowed us to increase our use of mobile technologies in both the Junior and Senior School.”
