ISA Software Investor Forum confirmed for May

The Irish Software Association, Irish Venture Capital Association and Halo Business Angel Network have confirmed this year’s ISA Software Investor Forum will take place on 10 May.

The Forum will provide a forum for companies to network with venture capitalists and business angels. A selection of attendees will present their ideas to a panel of experts with the possibility of securing investment.

A number of software companies will receive receive mentoring in relation to how to make a company ‘investor ready’ and how to prepare an investable pitch to investors. This mentoring is provided by entrepreneurs including Iona co-founder Sean Baker, Helix Health CEO Howard Beggs, Holignment CEO Declan Kavanagh and Thérèse Rochford of business law firm WhitneyMoore, who will help with any legal issues like shareholding and IP protection.

Of the companies that will be selected to go in front of the panel, one will be awarded the ISA Software Investor Forum Company 2012 and two iPads will also be given out to two of the entrepreneurs selected by the panel.
