Wood Communications, an Irish distributor of data and telecommunications products, is to run BICSI telecommunications cabling installation training programmes in Ireland.
John Price, managing director of Wood Communications, says there is a strong need for qualified cabling installers in Ireland, and up until now there was no programme in this country that provided training.
BICSI courses provide a high level of professional instruction on all aspects on installation of telecommunications/data communication cabling systems. The Level 1, Level 2 & technician courses also serve as a career path for those wishing to take the Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), RCDD/Lan Speciality, or RCDD/OSP Speciality exam.
