Google is adding a new dimension to its Maps service for Irish users: floorplans. From today some 40 locations around the country can be zoomed in to give views of their layouts under their roofs, including specific floors. The floorplans also include points of interest like the position of shops and ATMs.
Indoor Maps is available for iOS, Android and desktop.
The first wave of buildings includes airports, train stations, shopping centres, museums, stadiums and Universities.
Ireland is the seventh country to get Indoor Maps following the US, Japan, Canada, UK, Brazil and Australia.
