Ultimate Ears Mini Boom

Ultimate Ears’ Boom combined great sound with novel design but a €200+ price tag may have put a lot of people off. The Mini Boom follow-up retains the same user experience in a smaller package at a reasonable price.

As before, the Boom Mini connects via Bluetooth for up to 10 hours audio playback at a range of 50 feet. It charges by Micro-USB and you can even link multiple units together via a mobile app available for iOS and Android.

Panasonic Lumix TZ60

Measuring 110.6×64.3×34.4mm and weighing 240g, Panasonic says its Lumix TZ60 is the world’s slimmest digital compact camera to include Live View Finder and a 30x Ultra Zoom.

On top of a Leica lens, 18.1MP sensor, full HD video recording and Wi-Fi, the TZ60 has a two-speed zoom for capturing objects in motion, 12Mb built-in memory, 300 picture battery life and ISO up to 6400.

Available in March.

Razer Nabu

The Pebble smartwatch opened its app store earlier this week but another player you might want to track in the wearables space is Razer’s Nabu. Perhaps more of an activity tracker than a pure smartwatch, the Nabu is sure to find its audience after it was confirmed that 10,000 developers had signed up to create apps for it. A low price-point won’t hurt its chances, either.
