Fujitsu Siemens Computers has delivered its first Primepower Unix server to a customer in Ireland.

The German specialist property bank Aareal Bank, which has an office in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre, has taken delivery of Primepower 400 units, which run on Sparc64 technology.

Each server has the capacity to run on a 400/500/600MHz processor, which Fujitsu Siemens claims offers a low price for computing power.
