Launched in 2011, Optimise seeks to improve companies’ online presence by making greater use of Web technologies and becoming e-commerce enabled.

“Winning this prize will transform how we do business online and has the potential to realise our ambition for the brand, providing an even better customer experience while also unlocking new job and sales opportunities. We’ve had incredible support from clients, industry colleagues and friends of the business who have been incredibly supportive in voting for us to win,” said Bernie Kinsella, managing director of WorldBox (pictured).

“Getting your digital and e-commerce capability right is one of the big unspoken issues facing any start-up where resources are limited and time is at a premium. Winning an Optimise fund prize provides WorldBox.ie with 10 days’ worth of digital consultancy, training and development to enhance our e-commerce offering and online presence.”

To date, the Optimise fund has provided training, development and support services to the value of €750,000 to 75 Irish companies.
