DSS and NetApp in partnership deal

DSS Ireland has been appointed a key partner for NetApp, the storage and data management specialist, making it one of a select group of NetApp partners in the Irish market.

DSS who operate as a services provider and computer reseller is a subsidiary of Codec Systems, an Irish company who employ over 120 people and who enjoy an annual turnover in excess of €24 million. Already a leading provider of Microsoft, Oracle and VMware solutions, the partnership now enables DSS to offer the complete range of NetApp storage and data management products.

Richard Nolan, managing director of DSS warmly welcomed the news; he commented that, “NetApp technologies are renowned for driving business success for end users. DSS is well equipped to take NetApp’s flexible IT and future-ready solutions to end users in Ireland.”

Peter Rawden, NetApp partner sales director for the UK and Ireland has great confidence in the services of DSS. Rawden stated that, “we are delighted to sign DSS as a partner for NetAPP in Ireland and are confident that their technical expertise and project management skills will ensure that efficient delivery of NetApp’s solutions to their customers.”

Avnet, NetApp’s distributor helped facilitate the partnership.
