Cisco is doubling the session capacity of the Cisco 7200 and 7400 Series routers and is offering what it claims is the industry’s highest subscriber density on the Cisco 10000 Series Router. These capabilities increase the provisioning capabilities of Cisco’s products for broadband aggregation scalability and performance.

All new hardware, software and provisioning capabilities for the Cisco 7200, 7400 and 10000 Series will be available in November 2002.

The Cisco Broadband Aggregation portfolio dynamically binds subscribers to high-speed broadband connections. The products scale session capacity, accelerate service delivery with auto-provisioning and link subscribers over multiple access technologies while reducing total cost of ownership for service providers. The Cisco Broadband Aggregation portfolio includes the Cisco 7400 Series, the Cisco 7200 Series, the ATM-centric Cisco 6400 Broadband Aggregator and the high-performance, carrier-class Cisco 10000.
