Aspira completes emagine rebrand following acquisition
Irish consulting and technology company Aspira has changed its name to emagine Consulting, 15 months after announcing its partnership with the international IT and business consultancy group.
Aspira, which has 250 employees and contractors in Ireland and a presence in the Netherlands and Portugal, can now leverage emagine’s network of experts in 12 countries, strengthening its offering to clients locally within finance, insurance, utilities, pharma and the public sector.
Emagine’s country manager for Ireland and former Aspira managing director, Gillian Whelan (pictured), said: “Having combined our expertise and resources we can provide even more comprehensive technology services and drive progress for our clients by harnessing opportunities and solving their unique challenges.
“The timing is also apt. With the rapidly changing technology landscape, it has never been more critical for businesses to stay ahead of the curve. We are seeing a growing number of our clients in Ireland explore digital transformations to improve their IT infrastructure and operational efficiencies. But planning and implementing these projects requires specialist skills.
“We currently have an IT skills gap in Ireland, so these specialists are hard to find in a market where there is surging demand for IT talent but not enough to go around. Consequently, demand for consulting services is rising sharply, as businesses work with third parties that have the expertise to successfully deliver these technology-based projects for them.”
Emagine’s merger with Aspira is one of six international acquisitions in the last three years and represents its entry to the Irish market, strengthening emagine’s offering and driving scalable opportunities in Ireland.
Headquartered in Denmark, emagine reported a staggering year-on-year increase of 93% in group revenue to over €605 million in 2022. Globally, emagine has a network of more than 5,000 experts who deliver scalable services and technology-based solutions to clients across all industries and sectors, operating out of 24 locations in Europe, the UAE and India. Key services include staff augmentation, managed services and teams, and driving change through advisory services, as well as delivering expert training.
