Apple fanboys in the US have broken another record for the latest version of the iPhone, with pre-orders of the iPhone 5 topped two million in just 24 hours. This is more than double the previous record of 1 million held by iPhone 4S.
Demand for iPhone 5 has already exceeded the initial supply and while the majority of pre-orders will be delivered to US customers on 21 September, many are scheduled to be delivered in October.
The iPhone 5 gets its Irish release on 28 September.
