An Taoiseach announces job creation at CMS Peripherals

An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, TD, visited CMS Peripherals at its headquarters in Kiltimagh, County Mayo, to announce the creation of 20 new jobs which are part of its Graduate Academy programme.
The Graduate Academy gives graduates an immediate career path in the data storage industry. The first induction began on 1 August 2012 with 10 entrants who received a six week intensive storage industry training course. The initiative is supported by Enterprise Ireland.

"Investment in specialised training is critical for the economy," said an Taoiseach. "Companies like CMS have reached a level of excellence in their industry and I support their Graduate Academy to drive further employment and exports. It is initiatives like this that will contribute greatly to the economic recovery that we are all working towards."

"This initiative is aimed at supporting the growing number of resellers we serve," said Frank Salmon, founder and group MD, CMS Peripherals. "It is our plan to recruit our next wave of 10 graduates early next year. We are delighted to have an Taoiseach visit our office to launch the program and address our employees and a number of key partners."

"CMS is an example of such a company and we are delighted to support this initiative."

We look forward to building further on this program in 2013 with the second phase of the program and the creation of 10 more roles."
