Accuflow, cut-e announce job plans for Cork and Galway

Over 50 jobs have been announced for Cork and Galway by two Irish firms.

Accuflow, a manufacturer of wireless technology based in Cork, is embarking on a three-year global expansion which will increase its workforce from 10 to 40 following the securing of €1 million from investors.

The 30 new jobs will be filled across sales, administration, marketing, programming and software development roles.

Accuflow also launched their Smartzone Hub in Southside Business Park, Togher, today. The Hub is a one-stop shop for smart home innovations and technologies.

The hub will enable homeowners to speak to and get advice from Accuflow experts who can offer them first to Irish market innovations that are normally only available through niche trade channels. Accuflow plans to open a Smartzone Hub in Dublin in the third quarter of 2016 and a further six by 2018.

In a separate development, online psychometric assessment test provider cut-e has announced 16 new positions for its global base in Loughrea. The new hires will bring the office’s overall headcount to 24 in a range of areas including occupational psychology, marketing, finance and other support functions

Cut-e has offices in Dublin, New York, Singapore, Melbourne, Dubai, Sydney, London and Kuala Lumpur. Its customer include Dell, Emirates, PepsiCo, eir, MasterCard, Telefonica, Rolls-Royce, Aer Lingus and Vodafone.
