Logitech’s UE Air Speaker allows streaming from OS X and iOS devices over AirPlay and was an honoree at the International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards in the Wireless Handset Accessories product category.

Just dock your iOS device (running version 4.02 or better), download the Logitech UE Air app, enter your Wi-Fi network password and you’re ready to go. After that one time setup process, any Mac or PC on your network with iTunes 10.1 or later is instantly connected.

Samsung DV300F

Samsung’s 2View offering, the DV300F, is a 16MP compact with 5x zoom and 3" and 1.5" rear- and front-facing LCD screens. An emphasis on connectivity and sharing makes it easy to connect over Wi-Fi to tablets, computers and smartphones with the option to share instantly to Facebook, YouTube just e-mail.

The TV Link capabilities make it easy to connect instantly to a home network of appliances and electronic equipment instantly.

With the Smart Remote Viewfinder, you can remotely control your camera settings and set-up shots via your smartphone. By adjusting the settings via your mobile device, you can create the perfect shot to either ensure you’re part of the picture or to capture the best shots from a distance.

Auto Backup and cloud storage through services such as AllShare Play and Microsoft SkyDrive give peace of mind that images are safe in the event of loss or damage to the camera. Price is to be confirmed but Engadget is quoting $199 for US customers.

Emporia CLICK

EmporiaCLICK is an easy-to-use mobile phone for talk, text and taking photographs that will primarily appeal to senior citizens.

Launching in Ireland with Vodafone, emporiaCLICK offers has a one-touch emergency call system where the handset automatically dial five pre-set numbers in sequence until it reaches a human response. It will ignore answer machines and if it cannot get a response from the pre-set numbers, it will dial an emergency number.

EmporiaCLICK offers extra loud speakers for hands free calls and polyphonic ringer melodies, an extra-strong vibration alert and a torch which flashes when someone calls.

It provides four hours of talk time from a single charge, and can last up 13 days on standby.
