The 470-pupil multi-denominational junior and senior school now has a fully networked student infrastructure with a dedicated computer room and library resource centre. Two years ago, it began the process of networking the entire school.

According to IT co-coordinator Paula Stauton, the requirements were to set up a dedicated networked computer lab with 26 computers as well as a shared library resource area.

‘We wanted our students to have Internet access but we also wanted to make sure that we could control its use and ensure protection of our students’ accounts,’ she says.
