Interactive whiteboard manufacturer, SMART Technologies, is on the hunt for students who demonstrate the best use of technology in performing research and communicating the results at this month’s BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. The winning entry will receive a SMART Board 680i plus training for their school worth over €5,000.
Judges in the competition will assess projects on the basis of the use of technology to research the background information, the experimental and/or surveys methods used gather data and its subsequent analysis. In the communication of the results, the presentation of the students’ workbook, stand display and the ability to convey results in a clear fashion will prove deciding factors.
