Strong performance: Version 1’s Justin Keatinge

Irish IT consulting and services company Version 1 has acquired the business and assets of PM Centrix, the IT services wing of PM Group.

The deal merges the capability and expertise of two Microsoft Gold Certified partners, extending Version 1’s customer base to 220 and its staff numbers to 200.

Version 1 says it expects to create 100 jobs over the next three years across its offices in Dublin, Belfast and Cork. Projected revenues in the period are about EUR*30 million.

Version 1 MD Justin Keatinge says: “We have performed very strongly in 2010. Projected turnover is EUR* 17.5 million and operating profit has risen by close to 50%.”

He adds: “We have a strong deals pipeline and over 20 open positions, as well as a number of graduate opportunities. We have grown steadily since our inception in 1996 and believe that Version 1 is entering a period of renewed growth and expansion.”

“We expect this deal to benefit our customers by strengthening our expertise in Microsoft technology, particularly SharePoint,” Keatinge said.
