IT consulting and managed services company Version 1 has acquired Birmingham-based Patech Solutions. Financial details of the deal were not released. This purchase marks Version 1’s fifth acquisition to date.
Version 1’s acquisition of Patech Solutions Ltd is due to its significant experience of the Oracle E-Business Suite product stack and associated technologies. Patech has invested considerably in providing value added services that deliver to its clients. The acquisition will see Version 1 strengthen its position as the leading Oracle partner in the UK and Ireland.
CEO of Version 1, Justin Keatinge said: “Patech is a close fit with our aggressive acquisition criteria and strengthens our Public sector profile and our Oracle practice across Ireland & the UK. With 65 staff, Patech has an enviable pool of e-business talent on which Version 1 can build.”
Founder and CEO of Patech Solutions Tony Bird added: “Version 1’s acquisition of Patech… will also help us to scale up our business rapidly and to capture even more opportunities both within the Oracle E-business space and also the broader IT Services market.
Version 1 employes over 600 staff, with 150 of those in the UK. It expects to achieve revenues in excess of €70 million this year through acquisitions and organic growth.
