Managed service provider Ergo came away with the award for best place to work in IT at the 2015 Tech Excellence Awards for its investment on innovation and system, but especially it’s continued focus on its staff.
The key standouts for the Tech Excellence Awards judges were an internal best workplaces team, a treats and perks plan, communications forums and methods up and down the chain, a recognition scheme rewarding excellence, work/life flexibility and health awareness programmes, an extremely low attrition rate, upskilling through a ‘grow our own’ plan and graduate development programmes with links to IT Tallaght.
Other perks and activities include an ice cream van in the summer, complimentary daily breakfast, interdepartmental pool tournaments and a charity committee.
Ergo employs more than 200 people and has a turnover in excess of €24 million.
