Samsung has launched a range of new displays that it says improve productivity with a more immersive, comfortable and appealing viewing environment.

The new CF591 and CF390 monitors use a curved design that Samsung says offer “greater visibility and user comfort” through the use of 1800R curvature that it claims match the natural shape of the human eye, providing a more natural viewing experience.

“Through next-level design, picture quality and convenience-driving enhancements, our expanded 2016 monitors suite create new possibilities for businesses and consumers to enjoy more productive and engaging usage environments,” said Michael Zoeller, VP and European head of Visual Display at Samsung Electronics. “We look forward to telling the stories behind our latest innovations at Samsung Forum, and demonstrating how these monitors are just the beginning of our plans to deliver our vision for the future of visual display.”

The two CF monitors also feature flicker-free and Eye Saver technologies to maintain presentation consistency and reduce strain on users’ eyes. Embedded AMD FreeSync Technology over HDMI functionality synchronises screen refresh rates with users’ AMD graphics cards to reduce input latency, stutter and lag across a 178-degree viewing angle.

While the CF monitors are aimed at consumer and business users, the UE850 UHD monitors are aimed at business and offer enhanced visual clarity and ergonomic features to help users complete detailed tasks, says Samsung.

Through PLS panel technology, the UE850 monitors enable users to view screens horizontally and vertically at angles up to 178 degrees. Combined with UHD resolution four times greater than that of full HD (FHD) alternatives, the monitors, say the makers, deliver realistic and brilliantly-coloured images. The UE850 displays additionally create a more convenient and comfortable workspace with a height-adjustable stand and multi-device connectivity.

The SE370 monitor features built-in wireless charging capabilities. With 600 (23.6”) and 686mm (27”) variations takes convenience and comfort benefits even further for professional users. The SE370’s design includes a wireless charging pad where users can charge Qi standard devices. By consolidating multiple charging ports and cords into a single device, says Samsung, the SE370 enables users to remove workspace clutter while creating efficiencies.
