Réalta Technologies has signed a three-year deal to become official data solutions partner for Munster Rugby.

The partnership – which will conclude after the 2025/2026 season – will allow Munster Rugby to better analyse player and team data, identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, and formulate targeted training strategies for continuous improvement.

As part of the collaboration, Réalta’s team of data scientists will work closely with Munster’s lead performance analyst and technical coach George Murray and his team. The focus will be on building API integration to external data sources, developing optimised data models, and enhancing performance KPI dashboards. The ultimate goal is to establish a robust data foundation that leverages artificial intelligence to enhance team and player performance through streamlined analytics.

Murray said: “This is a very exciting partnership for Munster Rugby. It will give us a unique advantage in data analytics and help us to get the most out of the players, and the team as a whole, going forward.”
