New database service fuses data for marketing insights

A new database service has been launched that combines various data sources in an integrated information platform that maps Irish households on several key metrics.

Aimed at the likes of utilities, financials, marketers, insurers and others, InsightsIreland.ie is a license-based online characteristic and mapping service that draws together freely available population statistics, including Census information from 2011 and the CSO Household Budget Survey, with Data Ireland’s layers of database intelligence, that can also be integrated with the client’s data.

“All businesses want to find the ideal customer and InsightsIreland.ie delivers that,” said Darina Heavey, head of sales, Data Ireland speaking at the launch of InsightsIreland.ie. “The first software of its type in this country, it will completely transform how business interacts with Big Data. It represents precision marketing in its most literal sense, helping brands to really understand and develop insights about their target market, combining “of the moment” data and state of the art technology to identify potential new customers. One year in development, it will open up a new range of commercial possibilities for Irish business in a very cost effective manner.”

InsightsIreland.ie will be available on a rolling, one-year corporate license agreement for €20,000 pa, for which Data Ireland will provide two half-day training sessions for users. Technical support will also be Irish-based.

Data Ireland said that it is interested in working with businesses, irrespective of size or sector, to enhance their analytics and consumer insights capabilities.
