NBM Group marks 40 years with €1.8m investment plan
Managed print provider National Business Machines Group has marked 40 years in business with the announcement of a major expansion plan.
Over the next 12 months, the Cork-founded company plans to invest €1.8 million in its infrastructure in Dublin, supporting growth across new business areas including audio-visual solutions, graphic communications solutions, managed IT and print services, and workplace supplies.
NBM Group is embarking on a strategic expansion into Dublin, following the recent acquisition of a Xerox client base in the capital. The move will see the company establish new premises and create five new jobs in 2026, strengthening its national presence and positioning it for further growth in the years ahead.
Founded in October 1985 by Michael Galvin, NBM Group has grown from a small Cork-based business into a national technology organisation, providing managed print, IT, audio-visual, and graphic comms solutions to clients across Ireland.
CEO of NBM Mark McPhillips said: “As we celebrate 40 years in business, NBM is entering one of the most exciting periods in our history. Our business has evolved well beyond our managed print heritage – today, we are a comprehensive IT and workplace technology provider supporting clients across every sector.
“The investment and expansion we’re announcing will not only strengthen our presence in Dublin but also accelerate our growth across Ireland. With new services in managed IT, and AV, our goal is to double the size of the business within the next five years.”
