Microsoft creates 95 jobs at EMEA headquarters

Microsoft Ireland today announced the creation of 30 new development roles at its Irish based operations in Dublin. The new positions are located at its European development centre and are in the Microsoft Office division, and in the applications media and publishing group at Microsoft. In addition to these new positions the Company also announced the creation of 35 new graduate positions across all parts of its business. It is also currently recruiting for a range of professional services roles in its Europe Middle East and Africa operations centre as well as its sales and marketing organisations.

This expansion has been supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

The application media and publishing (AMP) group is recruiting developers and programme managers who will focus on creating and building a scalable infrastructure, and relevant personalised experiences for consumers to enjoy across every device, on the Web or via an app.

The new roles in the Microsoft Office division include development, test and programme management positions. This team is responsible for developing mission critical features across the Microsoft Office software and service portfolio. The team also develops the technology behind the cloud-based Office 365 subscription model for consumers, which has already had millions of users. The team is also responsible for developing the Office app store.

Microsoft is also hiring in the areas of online services programme management; devices; sales and operations planning (S&OP); as well as advertising operations and channel management at its Europe Middle East and Africa operations centre.
