Kensington has introduced the Pocketsaver Retractable Lock. Designed to allow mobile computer users to secure their hardware and important data, it features an integrated carrying case that holds a retractable cable and patented T-bar lock.
The Pocketsaver Retractable Lock holds over a metre of steel cable, which works with a loop in the integrated carrying case to form part of the locking function. With the touch of a button, the cable retracts easily and smoothly into the 4 by 2.5in case, helping to keep your laptop carrying case or backpack organised.
As with all Kensington MicroSaver products, the Pocketsaver Retractable Lock features the patented Kensington T-Bar locking mechanism, specifically designed to fit the industry standard Kensington Security Slot (K-Slot) — identified by the K & Lock logo — which is a standard feature of all laptops. The Pocketsaver Retractable Lock retails for around €42.99.
