Inver Energy has launched its 2015 Apps for Change competition in association with TechSpace and Foroige.

The competition challenges young people to design a mobile application that can highlight any issue, solve a problem or help their community.

There are over €2,000 worth of prizes to be won in three categories: overall school project, overall youth group project, and most innovative project. The winning apps will have the chance to be developed into prototypes.

Last year’s awards were picked up by Colaiste Bhaile Chlaire in Galway for best school entry; Foroige/Galway Autism Partnership for best techspace category; and The Centre for Talented Youth Ireland in Dublin City University was named most innovative team.
