Have a question? Try Google Answers

Life

1 April 2005

Google Answers, which is still in beta, allows customers to place a question, put a price on it, and one of its 500 researchers will try to track down the answer for you. Questions on the site range from high dollar market research questions to queries on movie titles or song lyrics. Prices are set by the customer and can range from $2 to $200, with a non-refundable 50 cent listing fee for Google.

Anyone who places a question should read through the terms of service first — the site discourages users from posting questions that look for personal information on individuals, and questions that refer or relate to adult content may be removed by the editors.
