Fujitsu has signed Cork-based Total Import Solutions (TIS) as a distributor for its range of Lifebook laptops, Stylistic tablets and Esprimo desktop PCs. The decision to increase focus into the Irish market follows a review of Fujitsu’s distribution model across the UK and Ireland.

Clare MacMahon, business manager, TIS, said: "Fujitsu is a highly significant addition to our portfolio. It means we can offer our customers even more choice of high quality systems and more opportunities to grow their sales in both the public and private sectors."

Michael Keegan, executive director, Technology Product Group, Fujitsu UK & Ireland, said: "Over the past year, we have seen growing interest and more enquiries coming in, from both end-user customers and from resellers in Ireland. This new partnership with TiS will enable us to improve the level of communication and service we offer to our Irish partners and extend our reach and presence in the whole of the Irish market. In TiS, we are working with a like-minded distribution partner that will open up new avenues of potential and incremental business development for Fujitsu in Ireland."
